We lost shingles in the storm.
After a hailstorm or a hard wind, the obvious damage is the shingles in the yard. The damage that matters is often the part you can’t see from the driveway.
Hail
Hail bruises shingles and knocks the granules loose. From the ground it can look like nothing. Up close it’s a pattern of dark spots where the surface has been beaten off.
Wind
Wind lifts and creases shingles without always removing them. A creased shingle is no longer sealed, even though it’s still on the roof.
Leaks
Once the surface is broken, water gets to the decking. That’s when a storm turns into a ceiling stain a few weeks later.
What you can see, and what you can’t
From the ground you can usually spot missing shingles, a bent gutter, and debris. What you can’t see is granule loss, hail bruising, creased shingles, or damaged flashing — and those are the things that decide whether you have a repair or a replacement.
That’s the whole reason the inspection is free. You shouldn’t have to pay to find out whether you have a problem.
Lost shingles, or just not sure what the hail did? We’ll get up there and look properly.

Insurance
Can you help me understand the insurance process?
Yes — and it’s the part of this we’re most useful for. Rich Moeller spent time working as an insurance adjuster before this business, so he’s seen how claims get assessed from the other side.
He’ll document the damage with photographs and explain in plain English what he found and what it means. That way, when you talk to your insurer, you know what’s actually on your roof.
What we won’t do is tell you how your claim will turn out. We don’t decide that, and anyone who promises you an outcome is guessing. We’ll give you an honest assessment and the documentation to go with it.
